I like magnolias. Was my favorite tree to climb as a girl.

Funny story. The hotel in New Hampshire where I got married is where most of the acts playing at the Casino Ballroom stay. On our wedding day it was the B-52s. They had the suite below ours.

Exactly. Personally, I think all LEOs should have to go through this process.

It’s as thorough as a colonoscopy. Starts with a background check where your friends, neighbors, former employers, and even family are questioned. Finances, references, criminal records, court records, etc. checke. Next it’s the dreaded polygraph (trust me, a skilled polygrapher can draw shit out from deep down if

No. No. Uh uh. Narp. Ewwww gross.

Ditto. LUSH bath bombs and a mini bottle of champagne with a straw (I’m classy like that or would rather sip than break a glass bottle near my hoo ha). Gotta have my baths.

Yes! That too. Should read “separating dogs from their lives since 1970”.

Did I say there weren’t police crimes? Nope.

I have nothing of great value to add here. I just hate PETA with a passion. Their tactics are juvenile. I'm not saying I hate animal welfare activists, just the organization. Sorry if I offend anybody, that's not my intent. But, anyway, fuck fuckity fuck PETA.

IMHO, yes. It's not just one paper psych evaluation and everyone has to talk to a qualified mental health professional. AAAAAND...you can be referred to one if your on the job behavior is hinky.

Treating all police officers like they are would-be criminals is a form of punishment. I repeat, they should be monitored, but not by cell phone welding civilians who could be a distraction or get in the way unlike a uniform mounted camera. Which I’m all for.

People could be looking at me thinking I’m going to jail because I have tattoos or other such things that the simple-minded associate with the lower class. I don’t think this was racist as much as it might have been classist (is that even a thing?).

I'd like to see criminal charges brought against the ABC agents in question. Yes, that would be fantastic. Doubt it will happen, but it really is the only right response when the level of brutality is considered.

They should have to undergo the very thorough and much dreaded obstacle course that people with higher level security clearances have to go through. It’s brutal and does a pretty good job of weeding out the rejects. Better yet, it’s not a one time deal. Reinvestigations are required at set intervals.

One. One is too many. Same goes for groomsmen. We avoided all of the potential drama, obligation woes, and assholery by not having any. Our friends were all just part of the same awesome celebration, it was great.

I missed that too.

Local news reports said “he kissed her back and seemed to enjoy it”. It’s also been reported he said “call me” as she was running away. Not mentioned in this article of course, but widely reported locally. I live near Wellsley. Swanky might have heard the same. Sorry for hijacking. 😊

And P.S. You can't hope to convince people who don't use their critical thinking skills and refuse to look at things objectively that this isn't a good precedent to set.

It was tongue in cheek. She never made my life a living Hell. She only reserved the right to if she so desired. Which I knew she wouldn't. She was too good for that.

Totally different. Yup. You've at least had some interaction with that person and it's a bar and you're both there so it's kind of not unexpected. I'm sorry I misunderstood your comment.
