So, your personal beliefs allow you to feel comfortable making value judgments about people. We all do it to some extent. However, when value judgments and individual rights intersect I see it as not being any of my business to brand or shame people.

I'm not alone! Yay! This and Tide or Shout wipes are my favorite life savers. I have extra bottles stashed away...er...if anybody needs one. They are somewhat hard to track down.

Actually, a fur vest or any fur garment only signifies that you and the fur wearer disagree on your philosophy regarding the wearing of fur. That does not make somebody an asshole. It could just as easily signify “it’s -30 and I’m cold”.

A million thank yous. I so want to really like Jezebel because it's refreshingly different. However, if your going to call yourself a news and media site you might want to apply your own "no airbrushing" policy to stories. The lack of objectivity in this piece bothered me a lot.

I could be wrong, but in some states isn’t dating a former student not allowed until some set period after graduation? This was the case where I grew up and it was 2 years, but I'm old so that was a long time ago. Not sure if such limitations still exist.

Karma. She lives for the Edturds of this world. I guarantee she made a special mission out of this asshole at some very crucial point in his life. If she hasn’t yet...she’s still planning and lurking in the dark corners of his douchey life just waiting to pounce.

Or a hillbilly Norma Mae Tammy Crystal Tina-Lynn so on and so forth.

Well, I have two choices in our tiny one bathroom house. Choice #1 not take more time than necessary if it's a rare morning that I need to shower first lest he pound on the door screaming that he's about to shit his pants. #2. Yeah, exactly that. #2.

It's crazy! I swear every time I pull the lint filter out of our dryer there's a whole new dog created I there. And our cat....well, she's been gone since 2012, but her fur lives on in the darker corners of our house.

I like the way you think.

Is anybody else thinking what I'm thinking? He's bound to be easily found passed out after a night of partying. It wouldn't be hard to load him onto a plane bound for Argentina.

I was considering joining a gym. Not so much now. It’s going to be awhile before I can tour one without wondering when the poop and poison ivy are coming to get me

Soooo, if she's married to all of those men and took all of their names, her last name must look like an alphabetical trainwreck.

As little comfort as this may be, I'm in the same boat minus a reason to explain why my hair ends up in all over the walls of our shower. We don't have children, so I'm lacking an explanation everytime my husband exits the bathroom in the morning glaring at me. We do, however, have two dogs and between the three of

So, I'm a bad person because I don't have the same perspective as you? If that's how you judge people, have fun with that.

Then, as I said, MedLink has a lot to answer for. In which case an uninformed person WITH medical credentials concluded that Ms. Sedway was not fit to fly. I'm not saying the decision was the right one to make. These are simply the facts.

Thank you, Anna. That's very helpful to know. It probably would have been a good idea for that information to have been included in Jessica's story. However...

Policies can most certainly exist to protect both passengers and the airline. What could a gate agent possibly hope to gain by calling her ability to fly into question? I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to make. The fact is, you can not declare yourself fit to fly and her documentation wasn't adequate.

I didn't say I think they did. I said it was a possibility. It's not their responsibility to ensure passengers come prepared with proper documentation anyway. That's on the passenger.

Exactly. People are assuming that this happened because of some vague and mysterious airline policy shrouded in nothing but bureaucracy. Just because it's not common knowledge doesn't make it some evil thing airlines do to punish passengers.
