We kind of almost hooked up but ended up having this really long talk and decided we worked better as platonic friends. It worked out well as we are both married to other people who better matches, and are still best friends. He has never brought up my wayward barbacoa again. Lol. :-)

I didn’t get mine until I was in my early twenties and did not have time to deal with the “you can’t eat this or that bs.” The pik was great. Not so great was sitting across from a guy friend I had a thing for eating Chipotle and hearing, “you’ve got some barbacoa in the wire by your left incisor.” I ended up sticking

Oh man, my sister worked there one summer in college and was paid below non-tipped minimum. Most people had no idea that they were tip-dependent.

My hair is all dark. I don’t believe laser works well on blonde hair, but it does work on any that is dark. The laser is attracted to melanin so if the hair has some pigment and isn’t white blonde, you might be able to get results.

I am in the process of laser hair removal and this is definitely something I’ve come across. So I’m like welp, no kids. Obvious solution.

I tend to find it more horrifying than appealing. But then I work with a lot of old ladies and most everyone starts to have thinning hair at some point so the thought of reducing any of it intentionally kind of scares me. Embrace the baby hairs!

During those dark 18 months circa 2005 I ate everything I wasn’t supposed to, such as popcorn, and then used the highest setting on my waterpik to blast it out. Rebel.

This is the shame of my credentialing body. Stop it, AND. Stop.

Thank you for the link! You make a good point regarding supporting the non-testing subsidiaries. It's definitely a gray area for me. I am halfway through the last palette of NARS blush I have and I'm still debating how to proceed. I haven't bought any more NARS since I realized Shiseido tested and was the parent

I haven't looked in awhile, but I thought NARS was owned by Shiseido, which DOES test on animals. I guess the issue of parent company can be a grey area. Correct me if I'm totally misinformed, though, because I love(d) NARS lipsticks!

I completely understand! Good on your sister for ignoring advice entirely not based on a professional assessment of her baby’s needs.

It is something that is sometimes recommended for babies with reflux. Everyone else, not so much.

Bahaha. YES.

I was thirteen. I had a heart arrhythmia at the time that would occur sporadically, causing my heart rate to skyrocket and take sometimes hours to return to normal without medical intervention. I was on somewhat ineffective meds at the time contemplating a procedure to fix it.

Thank you. I honestly have not been on a flight since. We drove to our honeymoon and usually road trip to places. It actually took me awhile to tell my husband what had happened.

The last time I flew anywhere was 5 or 6 years ago to visit my then-fiance-now-husband in another state. I was wearing a basic (not long or baggy) button up cardigan over a one of those thin tissue tanks with spaghetti straps (since the cardi covered most everything).

Elegant sheath dress with statement jewelry and pumps would also be a safe choice. Shawl optional in my experience if the dress has substantial straps and is not low-cut (and my church is generally more conservative than Catholic churches), though you might be grateful if the A/C is cranked.

I use a small, stubby, cheap (e.l.f.) eyeliner brush dipped in acetone to clean up my nails after I'm done. Make sure you rinse the brush off when you're done!

I am fascinated by nail art, but I have a corporate dress code that includes the directive for "conservative" nail polish only. I am in the sometimes awkward position of being a corporate employee who rarely is physically at our corporate office, though, so someone at one of the many facilities I visit would have to

I'm sorry if I've upset you; I certainly did not intend to do so. I'm not going to defend the capital-P Paleo Diet because I am not an acolyte.
