Probably only if mom and dad have gout and are also putting whisky into baby's bottle. I mean, honestly...if it were me, a few small cooked pieces baby can pick up to eat are probably better. Liver is a nutritional powerhouse... Just WAY too much in that formula and giving the pate every day is also WAY too much.

Good luck! I was pleasantly surprised when I was in school/clinicals to have professors and preceptors who were constantly open to new research and didn't peddle outdated information. I really believe that most people are open-minded and fair if you're humble and give them a chance for good discussion and debate.

There is definitely a broad spectrum of "paleo"-type diets but most advocate eating lots of vegetables, meat, fruit, etc., and the last I checked one of the most famous sites regularly includes dairy. These are things I am totally on board with. I am really genuinely curious as to where you read that any variation on

I know, right? And if they're buying the supplements and equipment and high-quality chicken parts that go into this along with the time commitment and having been the type to read this book in the first place...I feel that they could afford to buy donor milk. Probably even from crunchy mamas who don't eat McDonald's

I tell my clients to eat their cake and enjoy their mac and cheese because I work with the elderly and they can eat what they want.

Ok, this appears to be a recipe for a pate for infants who have started solid food... which I am actually OK with as a once, maybe twice a week thing.

The tolerable upper limit for adults is about five times higher than infants with regard to vitamin A (which makes sense because...baby is small). You can do a lot of irreversible permanent damage and deformity to a developing body and brain versus an adult.

Thank you for posting this! I had a hard time finding it a couple weeks ago when the story broke. I'm an RD and I wanted to share it with my colleagues.

I am a registered dietitian who generally advocates paleo-ish eating (except for my job in long-term care where I make sure my residents have all the ice cream they want)...and this baby formula terrifies me. No person who understands basic infant nutrition would devise a formula like this. Even the most hardcore

Google Paula's Choice Beautypedia. She has great reviews to help find an efficacious product at any price point. Hers are also generally lovely and fairly priced. I use items from all over the spectrum and have rarely been disappointed with something to which she's given a high rating.
