Agree with your first take, Giordano’s thin crust is very good. I used to like their stuffed pizza as a kid, but haven’t cared for it as much the last couple of times I’ve had it. Not sure if they’ve changed or I have.

Yeah, I add a good amount of Parmesan to softened butter for grilled cheese. You can soften butter in the microwave on low power.

I feel like it’s mostly big chain restaurants that do the singing thing. I worked at a fairly upscale restaurant that gave you ice cream with a candle in it for free, but no singing. And I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant in a long while where they sing to you (I rarely go to chain restaurants anymore).

Chicago used to have a chain of donut places called Glazed and Infused, but they all shut down last year. Which is a shame, because they were great (albeit expensive).

I’m 31 and we have very similar tastes in comedy. Princess Bride was my favorite movie in high school, and I’ve seen Airplane about a bajillion times, and I love Monty Python obviously. I’d add Mel Brooks movies to that list. But I’m probably not very representative of my generation.
