Love it

I don’t believe there’s a Jack in the Box within a couple hundred miles of Chicago, which is probably where this taste test occurred.

I’m surprised by all the hate for homemade cranberry sauce in these comments. My dad always makes cranberry sauce from scratch, and it’s great (similar to this recipe, except he uses cranberry juice in place of the water and orange juice, and he uses brown sugar instead of white, as well as adding apple, cloves, and

Agree with your first take, Giordano’s thin crust is very good. I used to like their stuffed pizza as a kid, but haven’t cared for it as much the last couple of times I’ve had it. Not sure if they’ve changed or I have.

Yeah, I add a good amount of Parmesan to softened butter for grilled cheese. You can soften butter in the microwave on low power.

Seconding the recommendation for Statik. Not a very long game, but worth every penny (for anyone who likes puzzle games).

I feel like it’s mostly big chain restaurants that do the singing thing. I worked at a fairly upscale restaurant that gave you ice cream with a candle in it for free, but no singing. And I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant in a long while where they sing to you (I rarely go to chain restaurants anymore).

Chicago used to have a chain of donut places called Glazed and Infused, but they all shut down last year. Which is a shame, because they were great (albeit expensive).

So, I think this headline is pretty misleading. After reading the Eater article, it’s clear they were upset because they were part of a Glad marketing stunt, not that they were served three day old food. I still think they were overreacting, though. Even though they agreed to be filmed beforehand, they could still

I’m 31 and we have very similar tastes in comedy. Princess Bride was my favorite movie in high school, and I’ve seen Airplane about a bajillion times, and I love Monty Python obviously. I’d add Mel Brooks movies to that list. But I’m probably not very representative of my generation.

Check again. I never said or even implied any of that. I have no problem with “ladies first,” I just don’t think it’s necessary in order to be respectful. That’s all.

Just because someone has an opinion differing from yours doesn’t make them trolls.

Calling her racist because she’s expressing her opinion on a completely unrelated topic? Yeah, you really respect women.

Men have been holding doors open for women for generations. It hasn’t prevented rape culture, or pay inequality or anything like that. So no, I don’t don’t think empty gestures do all that much.

Some women may appreciate that stuff, but I feel like they’re mostly empty gestures to make men feel better about themselves. They really don’t mean anything to me and there’s nothing worse than a guy who gets annoyed when you don’t thank them for doing something you didn’t ask them to do in the first place. If you

I’ve missed you

Is it written from the point of view of Cookie Monster? Because if not, pass.

You know, I would really like to hear what someone who liked the original thinks of the sequel. We got a negative review from Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, then he and Dowd made this video where they shit on the movie some more, but we got that article from Caroline Siede explaining why she likes the first movie, but she

Yeah, I was surprised when the Emmy nominations were announced that there was no Better Call Saul, then I realized that last season was recognized at last year’s Emmys.

Angus T. Steakflower will be devastated.
