Exactly. I would hope that the testimonies of 13 different women would be enough to convict, but maybe not. If he was found not guilty, the women would all look like liars and Cosby would be exonerated. At least settling out of court makes him seem pretty guilty.

I think for at least some (maybe even most) of the women, the statute of limitations had expired when they came forward, so that tells me they aren't in it for the money, they just want the truth out there.

Agree 100% about Whedon. Buffy was on when I was in middle school and high school, and it was a hugely important show to me. It just really spoke to me in a way no other show ever had (or has since, really). I'm not saying he's always perfect, but I will always give anything he makes a chance.
