I love Craig, but his show was getting pretty stale before Geoff was introduced. He seemed like he was mostly going through the motions. Although, it really is a lot to ask of one person to host an hour-long show five nights a week with no sidekick or band and a small budget. Then he got a robot skeleton sidekick with

Liar. You don't wish that at all.

Ben was a state auditor when we met him, so he obviously knows how to manage money, and he seems like the type who'd live frugally and have plenty of money saved up. The cost of living in a small town in Indiana would not be very high. He had that job in DC which probably paid well, as well as working for Sweetums.

This new show needs to combine everyone from Happy Endings and Bitch 23 who aren't working elsewhere. That would be ah-mah-zing.

"I'm Ron Fucking Swanson."

I was more talking about the attitude some people have for other people's lives. When I tell people I don't ever want kids, and I'm really not in a hurry to get married, it's like they think something is wrong with me or that I'm in denial or something.

I'm sure the only reason she's still here is because of the traffic this column generates, or at least used to until recently. If the number of comments continues to decline, I doubt it'll last much longer.

If we assume that the friend was only offended by the word "transgendered" and there was no other problem, then I agree that she very much overreacted. That word is used a lot by well-meaning people, and it's not like CIS used a word like "tranny" or something. However, CIS even says that was one of the complaints, so

Yeah, I find it really hard to believe that the friend would flip out that much just because of that one word. If she knew about the article beforehand and had no other problems with it, she likely would have just corrected the mistake. My guess is the article was maybe a bit exploitative and deeply personal, but all

I really don't understand that attitude at all. That one-size-fits-all attitude that assumes every single person in the world feels the need to to be married and start a family by the time they're 30. Some people can't seem to grasp the concept that marriage and/or kids is not for everyone, and not everyone wants to

I'm not sure, but I probably would have heard if it didn't. I think she was supposed to leave either Friday or Saturday, I'm not exactly sure when.

I'm so jealous of my co-worker, who just started a vacation in the Caribbean. Talk about good timing.

Just finished the first season of Enlightened, and I'm really excited to start the second. I'm pretty sure I work for Abaddon.

Yeah, I was surprised by all the hate for Piper around here. I like her and can sort of identify with her. She's definitely flawed, of course, but that's the point.

You probably won't like The God Delusion, then. The whole book is pretty much outlining the reasons why religion is terrible and actively harmful.

Yep. I kept hoping my company would close, but no luck. I wish I could work from home, but that's impossible with my job. It was -12 degrees F when I left the house.

I'm looking forward to watching the Packers get crushed in the playoffs.

No reason you can possibly give will excuse not liking Airplane!

Wow, great choices! I love all the things you mentioned, except I haven't seen Justified yet (although it's next on my list). What did you think of Clue? I could pretty much quote that whole movie by heart.
