I first got into the Twilight Zone when I was 11, by watching the New Year's marathon on Sci Fi. Since then, it's become a tradition to catch some of the marathon every year, so I'll definitely watch at least a few episodes next week.

I love Battlestar Galactica. All I'll say is that the fourth season is my least favorite, but if you temper your expectations, it's still enjoyable. Seasons 1-3 are really fantastic, though.

I've been meaning to watch The Thick of It for a little while now. I might start that this weekend.

I just looked it up. In January 2011, about 41,000 people played those numbers in a Mega Millions drawing, and 4 of the 6 numbers came up, so they each won $150. I don't think all 6 have come up as far as I can tell.

I loved the show, but I can't imagine re-watching the whole run every year. I'm sure I'll revisit it again in a few years, though.

How many people do you think still play those numbers each day? If those numbers ever did win, I'm sure the jackpot would be split several different ways.

Same! I had seen bits and pieces of it before, and last year I recorded it but never got around to watching it. So this year I made sure to make time to watch it on Christmas Day, and I'm glad I did.

I got my mom to watch Breaking Bad. She was caught up by the time the fourth season starting airing. I was surprised how well she took to it, because before that she didn't quite grasp the concept of the antihero, and she expressed doubt that she'd be able to root for a main character who did terrible things. After

Yeah, that's a really good point. The vast majority of porn is still being made to appeal to men, so clit stimulation tends to be overlooked, and the women are obviously faking most of the time. Which means inexperienced guys will tend to overlook it, too, because sex education is still really lacking and they learn

I finally watched Lost this year. Just finished it last week, actually. I also binge-watched all of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the first time. I usually don't binge-watch stuff, preferring to take my time, but after the first episode of Sunny I was completed hooked and couldn't stop.

My family likes to have fun with the way we wrap presents. If it's a DVD or book or something like that, it's usually really obvious that's what it is, so we usually disguise the gifts. This year my brother wrapped my present by taping a couple of boxes together to look like all those identical gifts from Christmas

Never underestimate the number of idiotic rednecks in 'Murica.

I never have either.

Aha! You've just revealed your true identity, Shia.

Probably a good idea.

Thanks. I'm leaving in about an hour, so it's not so bad.

No, just Chicago. The actual temperature is -1, but the wind chill is in the -15 to -20 range (or was when I left at 6:30 this morning).

So, who else is stuck at work today? I only get Christmas day off, and I'm out of vacation days. And the wind chill when I left the house this morning was around -20. At least I get to leave early.

Maybe you don't.

Yeah, I used to spend the time to find shows online when I was in college and didn't have a DVR (or money), but now it just seems like too much effort when I barely have time to keep up with all the shows I already watch on networks, basic cable, or Netflix. Or, I just wait for the DVDs to come out for something I
