The description in the article sounds like it was a utility (works like) patent, not a design (looks like) patent. If the patent was well written, a tweaked version will still be in violation, even if it bears no aesthetic resemblance.

I like the emphasis on utility, but having a hood that is parallel-to-the-ground flat is just dumb.
Hot, cold... It’s all water under the fridge
He has the freedom to take on whatever clients he wants, and people have the freedom to call him a piece of shit for doing it.
Just to play devils advocate, modern consumer drones are waaaay easier to operate than old school RC planes, especially when it comes to range and accuracy.
Could also be variability in the framerate? I imagine those old cameras record at whatever speed the crank is being turned
I love how you can hear the execs drooling over ad dollars as they try to sell this thing.
Get enthusiastic consent, and don’t create a fucked up power dynamic? The horror 🙄

Any intent is lost on Wall St. You’re kidding yourself if you think any sensibilities are being tweaked by a statue.
There are a lot more variables in military free fall jumps than in static line. I think this happens every few years.
Dude, don’t be disingenuous. You know there’s a middle ground between absolutely non-transferable (even between family members) and concert ticket free for all.
I thought this dude’s technique was pretty interesting: multiple cameras overlaid and synchronized to show body position and the track.
Totally. The bad guys are running the show now- on all sides
Yup. Airlines have gotten really good at squeezing every last drop of inefficiency out of flying, and the result is that there’s no flexibility to accommodate anything that isn’t perfectly normal.

Protip- you can’t run sorties from an ‘airbase’ that is literally an intact runway and nothing else. Destroying a runway is a great way to render an airbase unusable, but hardly the only way.
The Syrian military claimed that the only planes destroyed were under repair anyway. GOSH, I WONDER WHY THAT WAS? Why was it that the operable planes were left unscathed? Could it have something to do with with that 4hr warning?
Yup. The best interface for driving is one you don’t have to look at.
