Seriously. This phrase needs some better definition. Do all the dipshits who spend more on installation than bolt-on parts convince themselves there’s a magical car store where lesser men buy pre-built trucks?

Uber is taking advantage of being uniquely positioned to solve the first / last mile problem, which is the biggest obstacle in getting people to use public transit.

Hah, he would try. More likely the publisher handles the money.

You know that’s exactly how it works here too, right? Lethal force is absolutely not authorized as a means of catching someone.

Realized my response was kind of snarky and made me look like an asshole. Here’s what kinja wouldn’t let me edit:

This could work... assuming there was nobody looking at / filming the area where a shootout just happened, and none of the cops in the dozen or so rapidly-arriving cars were the honest type (or they could pull it off before backup got there)

Me too. Especially if I was 14 and had a gun in my waistband.

Good to hear you got to do something rad with the money! What did you get?

Sigh, what I tried to explain to you is that, based on my view of the video without context, it looked like a sketchy situation, as opposed to “no reason whatsoever”.

Okay? Next time try it without saying anything and see if things stay boring.

Looks like a Return To Target maneuver gone wrong.

The fact that you carefully informed him what you were trying to do?

Most of the dash cam videos I’ve seen are of traffic stops. if one dumbly skips straight to the video like I did, it’s entirely reasonable to assume this was a traffic stop.
