I wonder if this bike is safer or more dangerous than the superbikes of 20 years ago.

Maybe, once the electronics make it impossible to slide a wheel, or the bike’s computer vision system doesn’t let you come into a corner too hot.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I’m planning to make the CBR600 my eventual 250 upgrade, I’ll have to grab an ebay seat and start experimenting.

Do you have any links of people doing this? Or what bikes are particularly well suited? It sounds awesome, but I’m trying to wrap my head around how you retain the slot/tab connection when you change the height of the load-bearing ‘posts’.

Take the cheek pads out (they distract from the way it feels on your noggin), put the helmet on and give your head a wiggle. Any movement should come from your skin moving over your skull, not the helmet moving over your skin/hair. The pressure should feel comfortable, and roughly the same on the sides as on the

If they meet the same standards, they are roughly as safe. All moto helmets use the same basic construction philosophy (hard candy shell over EPS). They extras you pay for are lightness, fit, ventilation, and features.
