That song (5,000 Candles in the Wind) is both the goofiest and the most heartfelt song in the history of songs.

I’ll read Winds of Winter when it comes out. I’ll buy it in hardcover. But meantime, if I want to read GRRM, I’ve got Fevre Dream, a.k.a the best vampire novel ever written. And Sandkings, one of the best sf stories ever written. And Tuf Voyaging (there’s an HBO series they could do, right now..!). He’s a good writer…

Prediction: Common will be one of the main stars of the Continental (John Wick) series that is being developed. Get him and Lance Reddick and fill in a few other assassins and we’re golden.

HOT TAKE: Infinity War is a very good movie. Shockingly elegant at balancing a huge cast, and often very moving. The CG is a wonder throughout.

The two seasons are both brilliant for different reasons. I honestly can’t pick a favourite (and I was the most skeptical to being able to stretch the premise beyond that perfect first season).

That’s a fucking shame, although it could’ve very easily fallen a victim to diminishing returns in season 3. Still, I’m sure they could’ve come up with more.
