I can't remember the track. I'm thinking Spa in 2010, but I haven't had luck in finding it. All I'm certain of is he had pole and was with Red Bull.

This reminds me of Mark Webber doing the turn-by-turn track analysis for one of the F1 races on Speed a few years back. He recorded his audio without seeing the video and it was spot on for the entire lap.

Man, I love me some Benz coupes, but this is about $5k too high for me. The big W126 coupes are hovering in the $9-12k range and are rare enough these days to have just as much exclusivity as this thing.

Because racecar.

I don't know if it applies in this case, but when you replace the battery, you have to tell the car, so there's probably some programming that needs to happen.

They already have the perfect car for it. Too bad it's only a concept.

I make sure I get a decent amount of rest the night before, and I drive within my normal waking hours, which for me is about 7am to 1am. I can do 14-15 hours pretty easily. After that the most helpful thing for me is to have somebody to talk to.

The Mercedes W124 chassis 300 CE/E-class convertible. It's one of the last cars of the "engineer it, then price it" era at Mercedes and despite being over 15-years old, it's not uncommon to find them selling in the mid-teens and above. If I could figure out a way to justify having the convertible to go along with my

If he were driving this, he could have just kept going.

Porsche's don't have pilots, they have commanders.

No, we still get the 3 wagon. And unlike the old E60 wagon, we can even get it RWD only.

I don't think there is currently a rollover standard for convertibles. I've read that the Vette does pass the standard that exists for normal vehicles, but I don't think the standard is made to withstand a speeding drunk-driving asshat who hit a Bonneville with enough force to take off half the rear of the car and

Yep, still there. There have been various plans to demo and renovate parts of the mall, but nothing ever gets much beyond the press announcement. Nature, and a small number of fires, have done more demolition work than anybody else.

I think the success of the diesel Cruze will depend on how GM positions it. Trim level wise, the Cruze Eco is a blend of the two lowest trims, so if you want upgraded audio, leather or a sunroof, you don't want an Eco. Offering more trim levels in the diesel would let it compare more favorably against the regular 36

I wouldn't say there are too many variations. You have the coupe and convertible, in base and SS versions, and now the ZL1 makes 5. I suppose you could do it like Porsche and count each trim level as a separate model, but you only talking about 2 body styles and 3 engines.

Yeah, I-57 can be weird like that. Most of the time, the influx of speeders coincides with students leaving or returning to U of I Champaign-Urbana, but usually the cops are out in force and there's too much traffic to get too fast. But there have been a number of times where my average speed between Champaign and

RE 4th Gear: Here in Chicago, the GMT 900's are the livery vehicle of choice. I know they're still out there, but I hardly see Town Cars anymore.

He's only a state level rep, so it probably flew under the national news radar.

I think the bigger question is what platform will it be based on. Things may be ok if they update the current one. But if its based on a sedan platform we might see Camaro-like bloat.

Am I the first to notice this thing looks like a two door?
