I’m a straight man who is pro-choice. However, it’s not something that affects me directly. As such, it doesn’t really make up part of my voting decision rule.

They wanted a man of noble birth and after recent events putting a Targaryen or Lannister in charge was a non-starter. That pretty much just left Bran.

Drogon is a Drogon-er. Even if Danaerys finds a way to survive, the presence of the dragon is too destabilizing. There’s no way to achieve compromise, a balance of power, when there’s a WMD flying around ready to take sides.
