That's not going to melt a plastic cup. The sparks cool down almost instantly, and if there's a spark big enough to melt an entire cup, you've got some bigger problems than worrying about a cup melting.

I agree, I've had a pair of fairly cheap HD 202s, the sound quality is very good for the price, and they block out noise fairly well.

You can still flash CyanogenMod to it. Then you have nice, cheap, Andriod tablet.

Maybe it's just around where I live, because there's a nuclear power plant, but should there be some sort of nationwide emergency the sirens would probably sound telling people to turn to a radio station. I actually learned a few months ago that the sirens here have a weather tone, and an "attack" tone.

I've never seen one go very fast - I looked it up, and Wikipedia said one flash lasting 200 microseconds is pretty normal

Protip: LED strobelights don't work nearly as well as the Xenon lights, in my experience. the xenon lights can go a lot faster, probably 25 beats per second (excuse the music terms, I can't think of anything better), and the LED are maybe 5.
