There’s never a bad time to call out racism. People talk about this during the offseason too, but of course there’s going to be more noise about it when people see the logo three nights a week. Why shouldn’t they complain now AND in the offseason?

Dunno...I’d say it’s the franchise’s fault for still having this racist logo.

The other part of it, though: I’ve heard Indian Americans, as in people who are from or descended from people from India, complain about it too.

He has literally been accused of sexual assault and sexual harassment several times, and his comments reflect this behavior almost exactly. Is that not “face value” enough for you?

I’m not a police officer, lawmaker or judge, so no, I’m not criminalizing anything. He isn’t going to suffer a single legal consequence for what he said. But he deserves to be and is being called out for his comments which many women suggest reflect his actual actions.

Trump saying “I *could* sexually assault women by grabbing them in the pussy and they wouldn’t care” isn’t really better. Especially since several women have come forward, before and since Friday, about Trump’s unwanted sexual advances which sound awfully similar to what he describes in the tape.

Ah, the inevitable parade of PED banners that make an appearance when a young player improves in his second full season.

I went to college in Albany. One semester I took a class about American modernist literature, and we read some excerpts from Robert Hughes’s book about modern art, The Shock of the New (based on his series of the same name). One day, I was flipping through and saw a picture of the Albany skyline. It caught my eye, so

During the seventh inning stretch, they played “Who Let The Dogs Out?” This dog sang along with all the barks in the chorus like a very good boy or girl.

I always thought an easy way to increase offense and pick up the pace would be to make pick-off attempts count as balls. You’re not eliminating the pick-off, but it forces a pitcher to be more strategic about when to employ them. And we won’t have to watch 10 pick-off attempts while waiting for the next pitch. Plus:

Thank you for posting this on my 31st birthday. I feel great.
