@Krobar: Oh yeah, forgot about that. Luckily here, Comcast and Bellsouth are partnered.

@avntgrd304: I'd have to imagine it's on the horizon for the PS3.

If this is the only reason you haven't ditched cable.. you've waited too long. ESPN3 (formally ESPN360) has been around for a while, at least on HTPC's. Then again... for about 2-3 months what you'd pay in cable builds a nice HTPC.

@Iowa11: From the looks of it, it looks like it just adds an ESPN3 "app" to the 360 (like the MLB.tv one for PS3 I assume). If that's the case, not likely.

What's up Kwanzaa bot?

@Andrew Pollack: wasn't there a big verizon outage earlier in the year or was it just blackberry?

NE Florida, works fine.

@nickcruz: Best buy has shirts with a collar and a big best buy logo on the chest tucked in with khaki pants. The only similarity is the color.

I don't think this is really that big of a deal... but couldn't Microsoft had tried to NOT make it look like a direct rip of the Apple Store? I mean... replace that dude's yellow shirt with a blue shirt and it's an Apple guy.

"They say their iPhone—which they claim is real, but without any internal components"

@pixelsnader: you get a noise or a vibration, but it's nothing like the SMS notification. It doesn't interrupt anything.

@Snafu77: totally, when we can just pretend people buy it solely for that purpose. That's totally cooler.

@jinlee: They already do it on the iPad/iPhone, too. This just offers the ability to use the iPhone, given that most people who have an iPad probably have an iPhone.

Stupid oil spill...

@UWAZell: Seems to me you were griping about Skype not having push notifications. In their presentation in April for the OS4 reveal it showed it and it was obviously not coming until iOS4 when Skype could use the new API's and run in the background.

@Allicks: I'm not angry at all, just pointing out if you're going to gripe about something you should probably know what you're talking about first.

@Allicks: And I'll say again: I suggest you catch up on iOS4. Skype did a whole presentation about how it will work, including push call notifications and running in the background. It's not an option now because it's slated for when iOS4 is released.

@Cintax: You understood what I meant, didn't you?

How is this any different than any other reader?
