I feel like the mythology never really held up to things revealed in previous seasons, so adjusting now doesn't really bother me. It always seemed like wrestling story lines to me…surprising twists and moments that are fun but don't make any sense at all. I always liked going along for the ride though.

Well, way back when the crowd I used to watch X-Files with used to joke around that Scully's first reaction to everything seemed to be to point a gun at it, so, yeah, pulling up in a fancy limo and being cordial probably fits!

I enjoyed it. I agree with most that a lot was crammed in, but jeez, they only have six episodes to work with and I don't think all of them are going to be the main story arc, so you work with what you have I guess. I see a little animosity about the right wing conspiracies, but that doesn't bother me…X-Files has
