What’s better is they are probably picking a point guard. That should stop lebron!
Right but there were 2 years in a row both teams steamrolled through the playoffs similar to Cavs warriors are this year.
I really wish they would go back to 24 teams or so and get rid of 20 regular season games and 2 playoff teams in each conference. At the same time this years finals could be the highest rated since 98 so people are still watching.
For a couple of years in the mid 80s it was.
For a couple of years in the mid 80s it was.
That’s about what I was expecting.
The Cavs are going to pull out just enough to win this series also. The scores will be closer than the actual game felt and they’ll win in 5. Has a #1 seed ever been swept in the conference finals?
They’ll probably make a movie about it starring Mark Wahlberg and Ben Affleck.
This is pretty much 1980s Boston-Lakers playoffs. Both teams roll through and face each other in a memorable finals.
Really not that embarrassing

I thought you would care that my wife and I watched that movie for the first time the other night and found it absolutely brutal to sit through. Is it nostalgia? It was not a good movie.
His numbers were only slightly inflated due to when he played in the late 90s, but he’s still great even adjusting those.
What’s more is that he came around right when the wild card 4 team playoff format was there. Every year he was in the playoffs which contributes to the myth of a player, and also why Alan Trammel isn’t in the HOF and why Yadier Molina will make the HOF.
His OBP during the same time were also very good. He was a very good player for a long time, that probably should’ve switched positions. As great as he was, he IS overrated and guys like Ichiro Suzuki are better players but a fraction as celebrated.
One of those things I’m willing to bet I never see again in my lifetime along with never seeing a 5 homerun game.
No I think it’s a bad opinion to say he is bad NOW. He’s good at his best and average at his worst. I even think he says as much in his book and interviews. In my hierarchy of lazy bad opinions it’s up there with Metallica sucked after And Justice for All, The simpsons sucked after season 8, SNL hasn’t been good in…
Sims is being replaced by Romo.
I’m almost betting Greg Maddux has done it.
