I figured out how to play podcast in sequence. Go to library tab / edit / new station / and then follow through. In some ways it works out better than previous versions, because now you can make your playlist. But the initial setup is a pain, especially since its hidden.

Try the Overcast player. It’s not perfect, but it does play one podcast after the other. And it works with my Subaru’s steering wheel controls, so I can skip 30 second ads when listening to Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.
