Exactly. The actual DLC attached to the Amiibo is total fluff, one extra costume or a weapon, maybe some coins to spend in-game. I just like collecting my favorite characters who would never get a toy release outside of Amiibo.

Can’t wait for for the new Gintama season, I just finished it and both movies a couple month ago and it quickly became one of my favorite anime of all time(maybe even my favorite. Definitely top 3), 265 episodes was not enough!

Notice how Amiibos became a big hit and Nintendo are now shoving them into every game they can put out. Imagine what happens if their mobile games become a hit.

In my opinion the old designs are definitely better, nothing beats that Akira Toriyama art style.
