Interesting observation.

Flat… exactly my thought too.

The Bearded Hunk was a repeat sketch… I'm sure I've seen the "can I steal him for a sec" thing before. Not sure why it bugged me - some of it landed and SNL repeats anything that works. Last night seemed flat. Given the plethora of potential material and the long break between shows, I was hoping for better.

A few observations:
1) Seemed that the audio levels between the band and announcer was off - really hard to hear Darrell.
2) Darrell's voice is completely un memorable. I recognize Darrell's contribution in years past, but they need a distinctive voice, like Pardo's was.
