Sorry not shocked by this. What I've been shocked by is how much information about their personal and private lives people are willing to put online. New barriers in personal privacy are broken down daily. We've all been gleefully and freely giving away the intimate details of our lives to giant mega-corps whose sole

"although like many women, it sounds like she was worried about the repercussions of saying no or stop."

That's a good recap of the scene. It's definitely uncomfortable, and it definitely makes you think and starts a conversation. Lena did a great job of creating a really confusing scenario.

Honestly, sometimes I don't know how you ladies at Jezebel keep going through all this bullshit. Cheers to all of you! Have a Lucy gif.

All I can think, looking at that picture, is 'you're dehydrated lady! Drink some water!'

Ugh, that other "source" sounds exactly like something one of her money grubbing slime-ball uncles/aunts would say.

Yeah but pot also is used medicinally to help ill & underweight people regain their appetites.

Freud is widely viewed as a hack in modern psychology. And especially so by feminists.

Mindy, I know you read Jez, I've seen your twitter. What are you wearing on your lips? I looove it! Love the whole look. Love the bag, love the shoes, love everything. Love it.

Dear Jim Norton:

Yeah, I think this persons best bet is to find something similar. There's pretty much no hope of finding seasons old Christopher Kane. She could get lucky on ebay but I wouldn't count on it.

So Jim Norton's whole argument is that comedy doesn't influence culture? Pretty sure many of the best comedians the world has ever seen would vehemently disagree with that. And yet the words of these late adopter sheep are too sacred to criticize? And whether or not a comedian has offended us or done a shit job at

I didn't forget my argument. I forgot I said I was mad- probably because I'm not that mad. Plus that was hours ago. My thoughts and feelings have not been devoted to this comment thread all afternoon. But yeah, disagreed.

Yeah, see the ETA above. I'd forgotten. But like I said, I'm not mad at the girls. I'm mad at these types of stories being portrayed a certain way. And even so, I'm not that mad. More like annoyed. At this point, we're going to go back in circles about how you don't think it was portrayed a certain way. But I still

Haha. I'm angry? Who's reading into what again?

And 2+2=4.

"Boom success" is implied by having enough profit (after recouping expenses) to pay 3 girl's tuition plus extra to donate to charity. But you're right, I don't know where the start-up money came from. I only know that starting up an ice cream truck is usually very expensive.

Normally I find that knee-jerk "Ugh, privilege!" type of comments annoying myself. So I get where you're coming from. In this case I guess I found the way the story was told disingenuous (especially the video.) They started an ice cream truck business, that's great! I sincerely doubt they did it to pay their college

It's not the story that bothers me, it's that it's portrayed a certain way- particularly in the video.
