Aside from the quality of the writing and acting on Homeland (which goes without saying) the biggest disconnect of Homeland from other Showtime shows for me is that Homeland looks much nicer.

I ended up getting Friday off, so I was out a bit and that was nice. I also watched a couple more episodes of Firefly on Friday, I'm not a big fan of other Whedon shows but I'm having a great time watching Firefly.
