I genuinely wish Tarantino would make more movies like Jackie Brown instead of Inglourious Basterds.

Homicide: LotS is really fantastic. Probably my favorite thing to watch on television, I would say it is even better than some movies. Great performances and it almost always leaves you with something to think about at the end of the episode.

In a rare move I decided to part with some money and bought a season pass for Fringe season 5 because the quality of the Hulu videos were getting increasingly poor. So I caught up on Fringe, and am really enjoying it. Semi-related, I also re-watched some X-Files which I also enjoyed. I started watching Ben and Kate

Hello.

Hello.

I like early Bashir too, in spite of his insufferable nature. He has the same kind of excitement and energy (and clumsiness and thickheaded nature) that I would probably have my first year on a space station at the edge of space.

Admittedly I watched the show after it aired, which does paint my experience, but I read the hand holding as kind of a "holy crap we're finally out, we did it!" instead of anything strictly romantic.

The grey was a timid little one, wasn't it? It was even smaller than the other aliens that had appeared thus far.

Field Trip! Although the XFiles wasn't really focusing on darker moodier mysteries at this point, they could still do one very well. The series of fantasies were super-tense and it was really great to see Mulder and Scully alternate in realizing that their hallucinations weren't real (causing the hallucinations to

Although I am late with this comment (the new reviews post Saturday I believe?) I wanted to say that while the more lighthearted tone didn't always work with Mulder and Scully, it was a really nice fit for The Lone Gunmen episodes on the show*. Of course people do get shot and there's kidnapping/mind control, so when
