Actually I don't do either. Every email I've received in the past 3 and a half years is still in my inbox. Why archive it when I can have the past few days right there on the front page? And everything that isn't on the front page is out of sight, which, in a way, is archived!
Welll... I voted for picasa but that doesn't mean I don't manually organise my files TOO. I copy them from my cam onto my disk into /pics/ThisEvent08/ then I view them in picasa. I use picasa to export photos - it's good for that.
Picasa here too. Lightening quick. I also love the way you can 'edit' photos without ACTUALLY changing the file.
I used to use filehamster but found it was far from stable. I now use VersionBackup, but maybe I'll check out DocShield.
This is what I mean:
It's only a bit slow to startup, like any portable app. But onces it's up, it's very snappy! Gmail responds wonderfully. I'm using this portable beta as my main browser now.
For me it's definitely the proper zooming function, like in Opera.
