When they pulled her out with the necromancy spell, she begged them not to send her back where she was. It was pretty awful.

Oh, no. The next episode just made it so much worse.
Martin was too good a character to be a full villain in such a quick turnaround — not when the worst of the worst, Reynard, was still in play.
I mean, if there was one animal for whom I'd believe it…
Marina was obviously awful in Season 1, but I'll be damned if they didn't make her death hurt.
He also inadvertently fucked up everything.
I'm actually pretty torn up about that.
Damnit.
My initial inkling is that they legitimately switch places back once the powers wear off. I have no idea how that works, but it's basically just the flip side of your mind going back into your body. Instead, your body goes back to your mind. That's the only way I can wrap my head around what we saw play out.
I'm just gonna leave it. Maybe talk to some friends here or there, but that's about it. Don't want to spoil it for myself. I haven't even searched character names, for fear of revealing who they are in lore.

I was going to side with you on this one, but then I noticed you used the wrong 'its.'
Fucking love that show. Not sure how much Marc Webb's had to do with it apart from the two episodes he's directed, though.
Can confirm, am Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Zero tolerance policy for people with bad opinions on the internet, tbh.
I don't entirely mind him, but he's been getting way too smug ever since he and Naomi had sex.
I'd like to take a second to acknowledge that you said "Holy fucking shit" then followed up that swear-storm with "bullcrap."
Hell yeah.
Agreed, and sounds like it is.
As soon as he said something funny an episode ago, I went "Ah, shit. He's definitely going to die early."
