Is it just me or was there actually quite a lot to like on this episode?

Nor any statement by A.J. Styles regarding the gay community.
Can we just talk some more about how great the opening segment was?
I wasn't all that impressed with La Sombra's debut, even though I like Tye. I guess we'll see how they handle him moving forward.
"It would have been impossible not to revel in that violence if we could watch it, and that would undermine the whole thing."
Of course the one time a babyface (Arya) actually goes over on this show, I was rooting for the heel.
How were The Waif's odds so low, and how were they identical to Jaqen's?
It took me a while to catch on to his act. He started out as a babyface who wore scarves and blazers with no shirt and just seemed like a mid-life crisis dad with zero self-awareness. He's since turned that up to 11 (I fucking died at him crossing his legs atop the ladder) and added a healthy dose of "YOU STUPID…
It was right on the heels of some other Ali tribute stuff, so yeah.
I think Cesaro would be a pretty awful choice, all things considered, but that's neither here nor there.
Way less jokey, with a little more AA FU in his step.
Not entirely related, but "COME ON, YOU GUYS!"
With the exception of the dumb aside about having won Money in the Bank before, leading to the aforementioned "No, you are" banter, Jericho's been kinda on fire in recent weeks.
It absolutely kills me that they've seemingly learned nothing from the whole Daniel Bryan thing. Daniel Bryan the character worked as the underdog of all underdogs because the perception was that Bryan Danielson the worker was not somebody that the company viewed as a top guy. Kayfabe through the lens of reality.
"So if you even dream of beatin' us, you better wake up and apologize" was a sweet line.
A.J. had some solid material, but his delivery remains pretty meh.
I don't think there's any way they actually let Cesaro win MITB. That's a dead end.
Doubt it. Kevin Owens seems like the clear-cut favorite, which is good because his character is pretty much tailor-made to hold the briefcase.
I watched less than half of the episode, but some of what I caught, I rather liked. The Cena/Styles segment was fire. Enzo ripped off like five different one-liners that we're all fucking incredible. And Jericho crossing his legs on the ladder was hilarious.
