It’s not great, but I thought season 2 actually finally captured the goofy spirit of the original (which I also liked but never thought was great tv). Swapping out court clerks was a big improvement. I like both Nyambi and Gary Anthony Williams (who I didn’t even recognize at first since he’s lost so much weight since…
Giancarlo Esposito as Squirrel Girl is casting I didn’t see coming, but I suppose it is “original, new, and fresh” in a way and totally different from the roles he’s been playing for the last decade or so.
This show was OUTSTANDING
What I’m getting from this is that Disney should’ve gotten Warburton for Thunderbolt Ross instead of Harrison Ford.
He’s been saying this for years now. Heard Kevin Smith excitedly talking about it on one his podcasts a while back, and I tend to agree. Alan would be fantastic.
Disqus themselves actually chiming in too now, with likes from Jezebel and Splinter
Yeah, their EIC actually liked a few tweets, mine included, mentioning the need for a return to Disqus and the upsides on a post of his making the announcement the other day, for whatever that’s worth. Guess we’ll see soon how it all plays out.
Yeah, not really. I’ve seen a lot of people, especially in the US, assigning more meaning to that than there is. Most people didn’t know what, if anything, that was supposed to accomplish and didn’t even bother turning out to vote. There are real problems that need dealing with.
You can poste gifs in Disqus, but a lot of places turn that optionoff.
Pretty much the only reason these days. If Paste were smart they’d switch back to Disqus. Not everyone would, but I’d bet there’d be a significant return of the old crowd, enough to drive up clicks. Then they could hire some writers, starting with bringing back Will Harris.
Yeah, it was well placed in Vanilla Sky. Another that didn’t get mentioned was “No Surprises” at the opening of season 6 of House when he comes to in rehab.
I liked it. The second episode especially is a legitimately great episode of television that had me tearing up a little watching the story between Pete and Bobby Cannavale. Edie Falco is funny throughout. So’s Pesci. Kindof sucks there won’t be more considering how it ended, but it’s not near as disappointing as…
It’s Katy Perry’s time to shine!!!
I was always happy to see him pop up in something. So talented and the dude’s filmography was crazy and varied. Critters, A Time to Kill, Fletch, Serpico, Harry and the Hendersons, Missing in Action, Home Improvement, one of those Airport movies, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Coen Bros movies, the X-Files, the…
I could not possibly care less about this story, but Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper, and Keeley Hawes all being on screen together in something will cause me to end up watching it anyway.
Olivia Rodrigo’s team would “prefer” no one interfere with the creation of new Olivia Rodrigo fans.
