Maybe it was just for fun?
Maybe it was just for fun?
Those CW shows sucked. It was like watching Beverly Hills 90210 except sometimes the characters would throw on costumes.
Iconic. Rarely has “mind your own fucking business” been communicated so effortlessly and effectively. I’ve seen so many actors try to do the silent intimidating thing, and just doesn’t usually work.
Same. In a similar vein, I just watched National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie earlier. I wouldn’t claim it’s good, but I definitely laughed more than a few times. Christopher Meloni, Robert Klein, and Mario Cantone discussing how they could film a live-action version of The Aristocrats joke being one of them.
Here’s a few others I’ve enjoyed:
I still liked it well enough, but it was a mess.
SOOO much exposition, and yet they still dragged out the main one until an hour in. I started checking the time to see how far into the movie we were going to get before Janet was finally going to deliver the explanation that everyone kept asking for over and over and over and over and over again. It was so silly.
Was always a lot of fun on Letterman too.
Loved Belzer in pretty much everything way back when. Still remember the first time I saw him as Pig the killer pimp in Night Shift.
Really? Of all the things that went down during that shitshow the other night, this cynical pandering bullshit is what you chose to write about?
Was just wondering the other day if this was ever going to finally happen after catching the director’s cut of Riddick (dumb but enjoyable popcorn fun) on Prime. It’s been in the works forever, and Vin’s not getting any younger.
Not as wild as the fact that she’s performing at all since she previously said she wouldn’t because:
Didn’t know that. Haven’t had Netflix for a while now.
Love that Hulu tells you when things on your list are going to expire soon, and that if you downvote something it doesn’t keep shoving it in your face like most of the others do. It’s gone for good unless you go looking for it.
She’s right about Kathleen in Romancing the Stone. I’ve rewatched that movie more times than I can count over the last 40 years, and she absolutely kills it. That said, I could still pretty easily see Sally in that role as well.
Zaslav:
Glad to see that at least some stuff like Reeves/Pattinson’s Batman will exist outside of the new direction. I recently read Michael Uslan’s two memoirs about bringing Batman to the big screen, and he weighed in on the whole DCEU saying he thought it was a mistake to try and emulate what Marvel’s done. Constantly…
