Should be next year some time. They’ve already finished shooting it. Vic Mahoney’s directing, and Chiwetel, Matthias, and Kiki are all back. Unfortunately they hired personality void Henry Golding to suck the life out of every scene he’s in, but such is life.

I mean, it’ll get me to watch.  But considering Jerrod’s love of fucking with people, I’d be surprised if it goes the way they want it to and possibly also lands them in a whole new controversy.

Christ, you whine a lot. Election was hardly “generation-defining” and I’d be surprised if there were many who even cared about a sequel much less were clamoring to see it in theaters as opposed to the comfort of their own home. I doubt the special effects will demand that they only be seen on the big screen.

ah gotcha. Still not a fan so I’m not really invested in it one way or the other.

A Midnight Clear is available free from a bunch of places if you’re willing to sit through ads or for rent for a couple bucks. https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/a-midnight-clear

Just listened to it last week. Not the best I’ve ever heard, but I definitely second your recommendation. It’s really well done. Worked especially well in spots like where they did rapid cuts between all them viewing a particular event or detail in different ways.

I mean, technically July is before Christmas, but I don’t think I’d argue it’s right before though.

You see me argue somewhere up there that it was? Because I never liked it. If I remember correctly it wasn’t even intended to be one by Capra and only became one because someone fucked up and let the copywrite expire making it something cheap to broadcast around the holidays. I could be wrong on that though.

Oh, and I can’t believe something we used to say as a joke when we were edgy teenagers 35 years ago (and for Lethal Weapon before that) is still being repeated today, but take it from the man himself...

Love Scrooged and Bad Santa. Also a fan of the unpopular Love the Coopers. And this has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Great cast and a helluva an ending.

Saw an interview with her a while ago where she said that even after all these years, she would still tear up every single time she played “Songbird” which I believe.  It’s such a beautiful song.

That’s a good question. I haven’t seen The Expanse yet, so I don’t know. As for BSG and DS9, while I definitely have positive feelings about both overall, there were aspects of both I wasn’t a fan of. But those also went on for far longer than this will, and I’m not sure either had as much of a singular vision guiding

I’m a big fan of Raknarok, and Love & Thunder is the most I’ve enjoyed anything from Marvel since the first Iron Man and Captain America: First Avenger. But a change in direction for Thor sounds good too.

I definitely like your theory, but I’m pretty sure it was meant to play as it appears on the surface.

Now, we do feel moved to note here that it is literally Jake Gyllenhaal’s job to lie convincingly about what he’s thinking and feeling, and also that he’s pulled junket shenanigans before

You’re welcome. Anytime!

Always amusing when an idiot both double-downs on their idiocy and tries to be condescending in the process. Bravo.
