There were some outstanding guest appearances this season, and Allen and Filipowich were two of the best. Lauren Glazier and an upgraded-this-season Albert Jones were excellent additions to the main cast as well. The acting was just great across the board for the most part, and I hope that at least a couple of them…

St Elmo's was one of a handful of movies back then that made really want to go to "white people school" up north. I loved those huge, old buildings and sprawling campuses with grass and trees and people rowing on lakes. And seasons! Or anything else mutant-related for that matter. There were bigger reasons I wasn’t happy about that merger, but as an X-Men fan since the 70's, whose first comic was a copy of Giant Size X-men #1, I couldn’t possibly be less pleased about Kevin Feige being anywhere near them.

I imagine it’ll be a bit divisive, but I liked it as a finale and the series as a whole. It was a breath of fresh air compared to so much else of what’s out there as far as comic book properties go these days. Can’t see that really improving after the Disney merger, but who knows

Amazon is usually pretty good about that kind of stuff. I've contacted them before when things I've bought ended up on a better deal shortly thereafter and said I didn't want to return the item just to reorder it to get the new deal.
