If HBO did, I didn't know it. I had taped it along with a mish-mash of Jim Henson things as I was desperate for anything muppet or Jim Henson related at the time. A few years ago I finally saw the Greek Myths portion thanks to a similarly obsessed friend.

The devils in The Storyteller's "The Soldier and Death" are absolutely some of the most marvelous puppets to come out of the creature workshop. I lived for The Storyteller and John Hurt—- but felt like I had to tolerate MuppeTelevision to get there.

Upvoted for the "looks like an Easter Island statue". THANK YOU!

As much as I adore Olmsted, I remember not being thrilled by that part of the book either.

Frederick Law Olmsted - designed Central Park, Prospect Park, etc. He is also partially responsible for the existence of park designations at such sights as Niagara Falls, Mariposa Grove and Yosemite Valley. He's actually pretty interesting and amazing, even if he's not your cup of tea.

Really? It's been sitting on my bookshelf as I put it off for other reading. Maybe I'll add it to the summer (now fall, dammit) reading pile now.

She already played that role in "Heartburn". And, between her reappearances on The Good Wife, various other tv, film and theater roles— I'd say Mamie's career isn't half bad.

My friends live down the street. Hmm…

I liked the water rights plot and Amalric as a villain, but other than that, not thrilled by Quantum. With Nestle currently saying that water is not a basic human right, I think that the water plot was pretty apt for its time.

I'm a Bond fan and a Connery as Bond fan, but Craig is my favorite. And, I could watch him run for days.

My sister, mom and I ALL loved it. And, luckily, we were able to get my niece into it, too. I really do think it should be bigger than it is. And, the Riverbottom Nightmare band is AWESOME!

OOOOoooo, yes. Canasta and hearts.

This made me laugh soooo hard (and then vomit a little).

AAAGH! Perish the thought!

Wish list of things I never needed to see:
"Glen and Betty together again"

It's even better during a full moon.

Too true.

All I can say, is that I usually leave celebrities alone—- but with him, I almost leaped out of the cab to catch him.

I've seen him biking in NYC—- Roger is FIT!

Yes, he does. He bikes— so that may be why.
