Yeah, as much as I love Alyssa, I think Tati really was the victim of being the sole un-connected queen in the lineup, and I think it'd be great to give her a second chance.

So, assuming the eliminated queens get to focus their negative energies on a particular contestant, who do you think they're gunning for? I feel like Co-Co's reading to take down everybody, Alyssa hates nobody (although who knows after that Phi Phi rant?), Tatianna wasn't there long enough to develop any specific

Though…. given what I wrote, maybe I should downgrade to "semi-unapologetic fan of the show"?

Good! I'm an unapologetic fan of this show. Yes, it tries too hard to be more important than it is sometimes (nearly everything they do, they describe as "making history" - and when they do hit on something serious, like the guy in the header photo's struggles as a survivor of sexual abuse, it's handled in as glib and

It took me apparently 9 months to get around to it, but I loved it - even more than Tabu. Even the stuff I didn't like, I loved, because of how it all fit in together in a crazy-quilt portrait of a particular place and time (sorta).

This is why so many people passed out with joy when Anderson led off Inherent Vice with Can's "Vitamin C".

Oh yes: it was called Boy Meets Boy, and it aired on Bravo about ten years ago? I made it through five minutes of episode one, which is five minutes more than I should have spent with it.

At least this version doesn't have "secret straight men" to throw an extra wrench into the competition. Still not enough to get me to watch, though.

It seems like such an obvious, perfect concept. Maybe that's why TV programmers haven't found it.

I for one am thrilled if Alyssa is doing it for the gifs, because Alyssa gifs are goddamn treasures. It also helps that, real or not, she seems so genuine in her awkwardness. You just can't look away.

Can you take over Logo's programming, instead of the empty shells of humans who programmed that dating show that comes on afterwards?

I don't disagree, but if you're playing Bjork for Snatch Game, you choose the one with the outsized personality, right? Like you don't pick the more muted and introspective version of celebrities when you're trying to win a personality contest.

Yeah, this was the first thing I said to my husband after the show: Katya-as-Bjork should have been a home run for me, but she didn't really get the giggly weirdness of Bjork at her most Bjorkish. Didn't dislike it, either, and definitely top three given the competition, but I probably would have ranked her under

This is the main reason I'm happy AS1 exists: it gave us another dose of Tammie Brown. And what a dose!

I found it really hard to watch Coco's performance and elimination, because it was like seeing a real-life Tennessee Williams play, with the older and someone disconnected heroine playing to the wrong audience and then barely having the words at seeing her dreams smashed. I'm sure that's way too sentimental a take for

Yeah: that comparison, more than anything, is driving my interest in this movie.

Thanks! I'll just add that I'm not at all mad about the review: I totally get why these albums wouldn't work for someone, and it's weird whenever people get hostile at contrary reviews. Long live the internet!

I like the album a lot - I think "Self Control" is the one that's going to stick with me the longest, but we'll see.

His cameo on 30 Rock was perfect, and all the media coverage I ever need to see of him outside the Olympics. Like: you did this one other thing perfectly, so you can go away now.
