Sorry, still stuck on “cack-handedly.” And the fact that somebody decided that was the best translation for a French word.

I hope you’re not implying that she’s ever done something where she hasn’t shone!
Had the same quibble, but then I remembered that Patsy’s family adopted her after the accident. At least, I think that’s what I remember?
The original Fallout. Most of the times you died, you just died - but there were a few specific ways to lose that would give you unexpected end game cutscenes where your failure doomed your home vault. It was shocking and amazing the first time I found one.
Ooh Shadowgate and Uninvited, yes. So cruel, so many ways to die, so much fun.
I just uninstalled BOI after finally hitting 3,000,000% - all achievements on all three saves. Between BOI and Super Meat Boy, McMillan has probably killed me more times than any other designer...
What... What did I just watch?
Yeah, that’s one of the many perfect things about SMB. I just started The End Is Nigh, and so far it seems like a step back - SMB without the color and verve. Hopefully it’ll pick up...
That fact, along with the hint at the end of The Last Jedi that other random people around the galaxy are developing Force powers, changes my read on what “the Force awakens” even means in the first place.
This seems to be dead as of a couple minutes ago. Like, in the time it took me to say “oh I should switch to smile.amazon.com,” it went dead.

Amen to King of Tokyo!
Amen. This was the year of starting games and stopping because I couldn’t envision playing them for 50 hours. I get annoyed when movies are two and a half hours, forget about 50! I wish my attention span was what it used to be, but it just ain’t so...
Yes, I loved that! But the copy I had (well, the copy my 6th grade teacher had) was missing a page, so I never did finish it.
So repetitive and boring! That was the one thing about Bloodborne I didn’t like. Some of From’s greatest strengths are their intricate level design and wildly diverse environments. The Chalice Dungeons, even the set ones, are the opposite of that - procedurally generated filler with a small and tired group of design…
Oh, I definitely wouldn’t say I stomped them readily. Just that I eventually stomped them by myself, with great satisfaction... unlike Suleyvan, where I had to concede defeat and summon help. We’ll see how I do the second time around...
The Princes were tough but soloable on my first playthrough (I’m finally doing my second now). It was Sulevayn who was frigging impossible for me...
Oh right! I always get confused because of the Hobgoblin audio.
Hilarious. My favorite, from a few years back: priest has a Mistress of Pain (from a Shredder drop, I think), and showboats by dropping an Auchenai Soulpriest. He goes face with the Mistress, who does one damage to my face... and 20+ damage to his face, one damage at a time. Turns out Mistress+Soulpriest is…
I had the same initial reaction, but the snippets I picked up from watching YouTube clips seemed relatively thoughtful. Might be better than the usual wanking on the topic.
