No one is forcing these people to commit to a monogamous relationship. They're grown ass adults who actually do have a choice in what actions they take. Plenty of people are very happy in monogamous relationships, and plenty of people who aren't decide not to be in one. No one is forcing anyone to cheat.

Fallon’s been looking a bit out of since the move to the Tonight Show. He looks a bit off and doesn’t seem to be enjoying himself a lot of the time.

There was a huge thread on a forum I lurk on and more than one person mentioned how hard he partied and all the drugs he did, and that he was just a raging asshole. It really surprised me.

Because it was probably drugs. And it has happened too often lately.

Made me think about where the nearest trash can is, so I can vomit.

Yeah, I sure think he’s a piece of shit alright.

I can’t imagine what life would be like if I were a “Bieber handler”.

Either that, or he’s just a heady combination of cheap and entitled. Line forms to the left, ladies!

“I don’t like the concept of monogamy, but I DO like letting my wife believe I do so she’ll be home with a hot dinner waiting for me at night, keeping the house clean and parenting my children so I have plenty of time and mental space to obsess about what else I deserve out of life.”

Yes, thank you! I think (for me) the thing about cheating that is reprehensible is the fact that you are robbing your partner of the opportunity to find someone that is better suited to them. If you want to bang other people, tell your partner and let them decide whether that is something they are willing or able to

The bastards doing this are cheap.

Well, I know it’s going to be easy to criticize this guy and everything he did but, in fairness, I think he did a great job directing Argo.

And get fired by your manager for upsetting a “loyal costomer."

So, a bunch of people are commenting with “I think this was dementia,” and I feel it’s incumbent upon me to note that at no point anywhere in this story does it mention that Livsey suffers from dementia. Not everyone in their 80’s does—nor does any part of this story actually sound like dementia to me. It just sounds

I completely blame the family. If he served in Korea, he is near or past 80. My parents are in their ‘80s. It’s very hard to be old.

My dad was a pretty serious LOTR nerd before it was cool, i.e. before the movies came out. He read all the appendices and books by Tolkien’s son annotating his father’s notes and books about the linguistics and collections of artwork about Middle Earth. Two of these artists were particularly considered to be experts,

That’s assuming the company wants to fix the problem though. The only way this would work is if it were a law-enforcement sting-type operation. To the company, because of the high turnover rate, the drivers who stay on, regardless of their level of psychopathy, are far too valuable.

Not to excuse or downplay sexism in Tech or Finance, but these are the kinds of stories I really, REALLY would like to see more of in women’s spaces and for feminists to grapple with. I get that its hard being a woman making $100k a year in a job where a man makes $129k, and that it really sucks when some bros want to
