$60M seems pretty damn low, no? Considering all of those NCAA athletes combined are still getting $40M less than what Hulk Hogan alone is going to be taking from you guys.

This makes it all but impossible for NCAA Football to put out any more games, right? It would be a licensing nightmare now.
See the little propeller-like thing on the tail? That’s smaller than some drones, and delicate. If that goes out, the chopper crashes.
There’s something called TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over the area. News helicopters stay outside of the TFR, and are in communication with ATC and other aircraft to make sure they don’t bump into anyone. Drones, here, aren’t obeying the TFR. If the TFR is violated, the airspace isn’t safe for helicopters…
“Currently we have not only a multi-casaulty incident, but a large wildfire threatening structures,” Josh Wilkins with the county Fire Department aid.
You had your own “ant justice court” when you were a kid, didn't you.
I fly drones as a hobby. I think people who shoot down drones or talk about shooting down drones are morons. A drone interfering in rescue attempts does not just have a moron at the control but a criminal. There really is no excuse or need to have a hobby drone in the air when larger aircraft are trying to rescue…
If people are dying because of this, there should definitely be jail time involved.
They should be charged with at least involuntary manslaughter if someone dies because the drone prevented rescue. And their punishement if guilty should be death by fire. And it should be televised so other drone owners understand the stakes.
Headline is inaccurate. All the cars have been evacuated. Just the cars are burning, not people in them.
If you fly your drone over a wilfdfire to dick around, your drone gets shot down and you pay a $10,000 fine. Actually, I’m being too lenient there.
My clique.
Judging others makes some people feel better.
No, it does because kids are inherently different than pets. You are responsible for everything for them, including raising them to be decent, responsible members of society. Pets aren’t kids. These people seemingly did everything they could to correct someone else’s mistake, opening themselves up to serious liability…
Thank you for posting this! I hate reading through all the, “You really should have done this...” or “the best thing to do for the dog is this...”. The point of this story is that these two people went through something very traumatic together and came out stronger for it. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and agree…
I’ll just say that I’m a veterinarian who does mostly small animal work, and I agree with this post 100%. If they didn’t do exactly what I would have done, they acted responsibly, and they tried. I don’t fault them for the choice they made.
The dog was biting people. Frankly they waited too *long*. Being sued was absolutely a possibility at any time, and it’s just irresponsible to keep bringing a dog out in public that you KNOW is going to try and bite people and attack other dogs.
You are probably going to get a lot of dumb posts from people (who haven’t spent a day in their life volunteering with homeless pets) about how this was all your fault. And those posts will list all the things you “should” have done.
The shelter said he’d be shy, but that’s all they said,
