He’s not dragging the Joker specifically. He’s pointing out a problem that after this movie experience cemented his position that they need to turn down the volume in the theaters.

It’s shitty sound mixing that’s causing this problem and not just movies, on TV shows too that have action sequences like the CW DC shows.

It seems like the music/background sounds are super load, while the dialogue is muted and the actors mumble. I’ve always had a bit of trouble hearing a conversation when there’s a lot of background noise (noisy restaurants and bars), or even when my cousins would whisper to me.

Even watching at home, the levels are bad - especially for action heavy films. My Roku remote has a “leveling” sound option that makes it possible to watch stuff without having to keep adjusting the volume.
