“[Whether] you like President Trump or not[,] America is the priority[]. [S]oliciting foreign interference in our election is un[-]American.”

It’s actually more infuriating that it would have been so easy to write coherently.

Whistleblowers ALWAYS get fucked.

Well let’s see.....We’ve had Dennis Rodman, Kid Rock, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson and Steven Seagal somehow all be involved in the events of the last several years.

How much longer can this simulation keep running before the core improbability algorithms collapse and start turning flower pots into whales?

“Trump asked a foreign country to dig up some dirt on his competitor Joe Biden for the upcoming election. Looks a lot like he also tried to extort taxpayer aid money in exchange for this.

Yeah, not sure if they were going for stately grandeur but it looks more like the bastard child of a village pub and a cricket clubhouse.

It’s true. And any minute now, Topher Grace and Laura Prepon will weigh in on reforming the Electoral College and it will somehow be important. I won’t be able to sleep until I know what Wilmer Valderrama thinks about global climate change.

I am not in favor of hanging impeachment on only this, but I certainly can't see how this, of all of them, is an inscrutable event. This is the most clear cut one yet - the rest take a lot more than one page of blog post to explain.

Yeah, I didn’t start this day thinking I was going to be agreeing with Ashton Kutcher on anything, but...just another day in paradise, right?

And let’s remember, and it’s important here, no one leaked anything. This was a legal and formal internal escalation of a whistleblower following the proper procedure that blew up because they stone walled the Intelligence Committee.

Gotta say, it seems a little counterintuitive to say “Look how complicated this one thing is, the solution to that is to talk about a whole bunch of other stuff, a lot of which is also complicated.”

It’d be more like Trump burning the building down and them saying the guy who caught him on film setting the blaze is the real issue because he was illegally filming on private property.

I doubt he feels any fear or despair, just absolute confusion (at a higher than normal level) because he can’t understand why this is wrong. That’s just a result of him not knowing how the government works, at all.

Anyone who opposes Trump is automatically a deep state liberal operative how hates America.

This is less about the result and more about the action. Impeachment is always convoluted and difficult to understand. And the only possible result if this is a quick dismissal by the senate.

I’m not talking about Trump voters, to whom the mysterious workings of their own assholes are likely inscrutable and complicated, and who don’t care about anything wrong he does anyway.  For literally anyone smarter than that, this one’s incredibly easy: he leaned on a foreign power to help him in his 2020 campaign.

“The real issue here is the smoke alarm.”

How the fuck is this inscrutable, complicated, or obtuse, especially now that he’s (inadvertently) confirmed it? This is one of the easiest scandals possible.

Leakers are in violation of the law. Someone bringing up concerns regarding classified information to the Inspector General through proper channels is following the proper procedures that were put in place to provide congressional oversight to the intelligence community.

They’ve always attacked the leakers. It’s all they got, really.
