I have long used silicone muffin tins for this purpose. I freeze stock or leftover soup and the silicone peels off of the frozen blocks. We freeze our leftover meal soups this way so that we aren't stuck eating split pea soup for an entire week. Each muffin section holds about 1/2 cup of soup, so easy portion

Please, Jezebel... when you tell me I am going to see pictures of badass women who are tomboys, I get all happy and think of my daughter. I want to show her these pictures. She graduated from fifth grade yesterday, and wore a tuxedo. She has not been in a dress since she was two and prefers boxer shorts. I am

Never happen. Too many horcruxes.

Seriously? Where are all of these babies... I have adopted twice and it is ALWAYS an arduous process, rife with background checks, intrusive questioning and my home being opened to all manner of people. Domestic adoption, of any child, not just caucasian and healthy takes years. We are in the middle of the process

@shorty63136: Ever been to New Madrid... no plague necessary!

Just finished our home study, ready to adopt. I would love to know where all of these African-American infants are that everyone is talking about. We were already told to expect to wait awhile.

I just showed this to my twelve year old daughter who is home for the day. She reminded me of her "foul-mouth training."

@TildeMarks: I got a rash someplace else. Took off my wedding ring and filed for divorce the next day!

Dang if that Scarecrow couple ain't my kin!

@RedBeansAndRiceDidMissHer: A sister in my pain! Christian High School, Father is a Southern Baptist Minister. When I met my husband I explained my childhood by taking him to see the movie, "Saved." I can barely look at my facebook without blocking someone.

@RedBeansAndRiceDidMissHer: But she didn't leak it. She had it investigated, as is reasonable, by the university police at Brandeis and they passed it on to the FBI. It got out from there.

@Love Monkey: As an adoptive mom, I would love to thank all of the bio-moms who answered this question. And for just, you know, being willing to place your child into a different life. I am constantly amazed at the openness and kindness which has come from my daughters' biomoms.

@FroderickFronkensteen: Holy cow no! Adoption is not what you use when you don't feel like it and are not sure if you want a child in the first place. Trust me, just had my life invaded by an adoption agency to adopt our third. It is not a fun process and NOT to be taken lightly.

@Little Green Frog: I read them along with my twelve year old daughter. Working in a library, I was able to get a pre-release copy of Catching Fire which made her Very Popular at school. We considered kidnapping Ms. Collins to find out how it would all end.

@Tina Vazquez: Depends on the inclusion or not of Hypospadias and CAH. If they are included, around 1 in 200.

@YourStupid!: Thanks for pointing that out. That is great. Of course, I have no idea if AIS is what she has, but I would definitely assume that it is. Also, I keep hearing about the undeveloped testes and cancer... really there is maybe a 1% chance of cancer from them, it is not statistically higher in an AIS woman

@kerry: Yes, testosterone varies wildly in all people. That word "normal," that they throw around so much gets to me. I would say "typical" is more appropriate. Thanks so much for asking.

@SinTaxAir: I am a woman with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, most of us actually have a harder time building muscle due to the fact that our bodies don't react to testosterone. We also tend to have massive amounts of it in our systems, because the body continually tries to make enough to have it be used.

@SinTaxAir: And the fact that her body did not virilize pretty much means that it cannot use the testosterone it produces. Odds are, she has a more difficult time building muscle mass than a typical woman with ovaries and a womb.

@DutchessOfDork: Her gender is female, Her sex is female. She is a woman with a disorder of sex development. It really isn't uncommon at all and she just came to the attention of the world because she is freakin' fast. 50 years ago, nobody would have ever known so long as she sat down to pee.
