Horsepower wars man. In 2003 The F150 came with a 4.6 V8 that made 230 hp, or a 5.4 that made 260. Chevy had 270 hp from their base V8. Toyota upgraded the 4.7 in '05 with VVTi and upped it to 280 hp.

I always get confused when people call the second gen Tundras "too big". Have you actually compared one? I've got a first Gen double cab, and it's *longer* than the second gen trucks by a few inches. Wheelbase is the same 141 inches.
