Go to Northern California, I think they're issued an E92 when they enter the state. Maybe they've upgraded to an F10 by now.
Dude, my iphone doesn't sit 20 feet in front of my car. Dummy.
Man, Tony Stewart has had a rough off season..
You couldn't build that for 3k, let alone get all the parts. I'd rock it.
Okay, let's do that.
Wow, a town full of young people with 6 figures worth of disposable income, how terrible!
Which makes a lot of sense when responding to a post, picture and discussion about a Ford Ranger. Good read.
A modern half ton has higher capabilities than 3/4 ton trucks of a decade ago, why is this surprising? The GCVW on a V8 powered F150 is 15300 lbs, with a tow rating of 10k. You're not going to be plowing the interstates, but it'll handle driveways and parking lots no sweat.
Bingo. It's the Rock Warrior with a cool grille.
People were using their "off road special" truck going off road and breaking it. Those bastards.
Who's "we"?
I'd say they're just as "American" as the big 3, that's why. It's 2014, we're a globalized economy.
Majority of the production on those vehicles has been shifted out of the US and into Mexico. They've also shifted predominantly to outside the US parts suppliers, whereas Toyota and Nissan have gone more domestic production.
The Frontier and Tacoma are both US designed and built trucks, primarily aimed at the NA market.
What do you mean "we don't know what engine is in there"? The truck's been on sale for 4 years. You get a choice between a 2.5 litre gas 4 banger that makes 163 hp, a 2.2 diesel that makes 147hp and the "big" 3.2 diesel unit that makes 347 ft/lbs of torque, 197 hp and gets 27-28mpg hwy.
Same question I always ask when this gets brought up, why?
I actually did just that recently, and you're right, Nissan dealers are desperate to try and move their trucks, the frontiers just rot out there. Most of the Toyota dealers out here can't keep Tacomas on the lot, so yea, they don't even pretend to haggle.
US trucks are excellent. They simply don't work for the conditions that a large chunk of the global market deals with. They're designed for the US market, IE: cheap gas and big roads. They tow and haul wonderfully, drive like a couch and are built nicely, have a huge bevy of options to chose from, and frankly have…
