The Titan, Tundra, Tacoma and Frontier are all built and designed in the US, for the US market. Is the Mexican built F150, Chevy Silverado or Dodge Ram more or less "American" than a Tundra built in Texas, or a Titan built in Tennessee?

Not sure I'm following you on the "Far better price" bit. Base model nothing trucks, the Frontier is 17.9 to 18.1 for the Taco, spec'd out the way I'd buy one of these trucks: 4x4, crewcab, V6, long bed, tow package, etc The Taco runs 33k, the Frontier is 35.1k

This strategy makes sense for Nissan. The Titan is out in left field in the full size market, and the frontier barely makes a dent in the already completely depleted mid size range. They can't build a "better" full size truck than the Big 3/4, and the Frontier isn't even really a consideration to the Tacoma, so you

It is really dated. The current truck goes back to 2004.

Dude, you know how much it hurts to *step* on one..

This is actually a pretty standard amount of downtime when it comes to having a major overhaul of a factory or assembly line.

Sorry if you couldn't follow along, for me "OTD" is usually less than MSRP.

Two things:

Now playing

So, it's 10 hours to put a easily reversible vinyl wrap of a dumb internet joke from 2 years ago on the car? Coupled with the "epiclol" license plate.

Actually, the MK LT became the F150 "platinum", they sell a lot of them.

A Raptor is 56-58k OTD, without even going nuts on options, you can very easily get that truck north of 60k when you start putting nice features on it.

233k miles on a chassis that turns to swiss cheese at the thought of salt is high, however.

I figured this was the latest Mike Burroughs "stanceworks" photo shoot.

I race cars, ride motorcycles, fly airplanes and instruct at driver's schools. I drive a jacked up 4wd pickup on the street. Do you trust me?

The current Tacomas are fully boxed from the engine through the cab area, and reinforced C frame underneath the bed.

4wd hi/lo, manual gearbox with a motor making more HP and torque than the Hilux diesel. Been on sale for years.

Welcome to Jalopnik

You do realize that the Hilux is the same size as the current Tacoma, right? 207.6 inches long vs 208.1 for the Taco. The Hilux is actually about 4 inches taller as well.

10? Try 20. Biebs wasn't even born until 5 years after Ice, Ice, Baby came out..
