And some of them are remakes of American films. Like “What a Woman Wants”.

I actually see that as a good thing. Typically in an RPG- at least how we’ve played them- you might get one new monster depending on your level. These kids are only at level two right now so they get a familiar monster and a new monster. Next season they’ll get a new monster plus will still have work with the Mind…
I thought Every Breath You Take was more about the Mindflyer. He’s always going to be stalking them.
But that was sort of typical of dad’s back then. They were more like Red Forman and less Steven Keaton.
You have to remember that some of these fathers might have been from the Silent Generation (think Korean-era) and being aloof was sort of normal back then, especially to their sons. They worked, came home, worked around the yard, and fell asleep in front of the TV. That’s if the parents were even still together.
Why do you think that? I’m genuinely curious.
I’m not a boomer, I’m an Gen-Xer. (1972, thank you very much.) I’ve seen enough to know that everyone is an asshole. Maybe, we were lucky to be constantly reminded that we were going to be the first generation not to do as well as the previous generation. We didn’t get our hopes high only to have them dashed. There…
oh for Christ sakes, no one is innocent of this. It’s not just the boomers. Some of the most sexist people I’ve met are 20 somethings.
I swear when Bob knocked over the broom I called him a fool of a Took.
It could go either way. The show about the Medici’s started off great, but it got to be a soap opera when it didn’t need to.
Ah Pink Floyd? Not punk.
No one is minimizing anything. If you do not study something, how can you know it? Should we stop studying diseases and how they work or what sets them off? Should we also stop studying mental illness too? Shouldn’t we study these people in hopes to an understanding of why they became that way in order to prevent it?…
I wonder if he’ll releasing more names.
It’s a great show. It makes wonder though, can one just snap and lose it?
This is fascinating to me because it appears they’re leading a double a life. Imagine waking up one day and finding out your spouse, child, best friend, sibling, or parent was a serial killer. Now think about all the memories you have with that person, maybe all the times you shared a laugh together, maybe a drive,…
But it’s important to do so, like it or not they might be your next store neighbors. Most people never see it.
The snark in me wants to say it’s like that episode of Facts of Life when Tutti ran away and started to hang out with a hooker.
I understand now. Thanks for clarifying.
My husband had mention Shadowrun too. I mentioned Cthulhu.
My husband and I were talking about this and it felt like someone’s Cthulhu rpg.
