What do you expect from that cult? Ethical behavior?

This is what I thought of:

Shadowrun the RPG game?

Was it just me that thought the illusion of Dr. Bremmer was guiding her back to Hawkins, even if unintentionally?

Totally agree, Eleven needed this to find out who her actual family was; she is still a kid and unable to see the big picture. And no matter how grown up we thought we were there were things we didn’t comprehend.

How can you not love the homage to Suburbia?

hahaha

Truth.

Argh It’s Julia Child and Ben Affleck for me. Yay and sigh

Yes, this. Exactly.

Romances become boring, mostly. Very few actually move the plot forward. It becomes like a soap opera.

What is your damage? You’re spazzing out and need to chill. Wait, are you Corey Feldman?

You obviously didn’t grow up in the 80's or early 90's. It wasn’t creepy; it was honest. It’s not like teens need a reason to have sex.

I swear the whole couch thing was there just to pull off that joke.

I’m on the fence (pun NOT intended) about this. I feel like most romances sort of ruin the story line, especially if they’re not done well. It would have been nice to have those scenes but if it doesn’t really serve the plot line, I don’t see it being necessary. Hell, I’m irritated by most of the romances in movies

Not all comic book fans are men.

Yeah, interracial dating was a big issue in both worlds. My cousin dated a black man and some of the really didn’t care but some did. My dad did not want me to date outside of my race and I would bring up how my grandfather didn’t like him once he found out he was Italian. (My last name is Irish sounding but Italian.)

I disagree, while yes he’s your typical 1980's film bully but as Patrick Zartman pointed out on here, Billy seems like an ode to executive producer Shawn Levy’s character in the B movie Zombie Nightmare (an MST3K classic).

I feel like the group is actually a pretty good rep for what I remember my middle school and town being like. It was rather diverse despite media representation.

Yes, she is. As is Max.
