Solange, Amandla Stenberg, Michelle Obama, all of the black career activists who organized the Women’s March. Black Women know who our leaders are, we just aren’t blond Fox News barbies so we don’t get mainstream backing. What Tomi does is show business, not leadership. She’s just conventionally pretty for mindless

There seem to be an abnormally high number of concern trolls in comments sections in the past year. This poster is very similar to the one who said that society failed Aaron Hernandez, and “shame on commenters celebrating his suicide since he left behind a child.” Neglecting the fact that no one was celebrating, they

Emphasis on “miss him.” He caused them to miss him. They are not in grave danger like the complex family units of elephants that he killed. Missing someone and grieving=hard and sad. Grave danger=being frightened out into the open by dogs and gunned down, leaving behind defenseless elephant calves.

I was an organizer and press release writer for Greenpeace and Sierra Club for years, and the only sociopaths I met were people who shrugged and slammed the door in my face when I tried to talk to them about climate change or not drilling in the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge. People don’t care. It has to stop.

I’ll enjoy live elephants now thanks.

Since I dated them I did ask them and they responded that they miss their fathers but learned some life lessons from the loss. As I said, they aren’t harmed. Parents die every day. And in third world countries they die horribly. Hid children aren’t in danger, hurt, or harmed. They suffered a loss like all of us have

His family is not harmed. He is just gone. There are many families without fathers. A father is not a guarantee for your whole life. War, disease, divorce, long distances because the man has to move for work like on an oil rig, etc etc. I have two ex boyfriends who lost their fathers. One at 10 years old when his dad

28 years of coldly slaughtering some of the world’s most intelligent mammals left behind a lot more than five motherless elephant calves. No one is celebrating but this is irony and karma given that this person could have chosen any other profession but killing. Great example for his five children too. Big game

Does it matter? If we all looked up the average yearly income of entry level positions in our ten different fields and the answer was $50,000+, only to have it not be true upon graduation that’s that. Or, if we followed in our parents paths and got the same degree, only to have the economy crash and modern wages in

Last I read she kicked him out months ago and he was living with his mom.

This. Myself and all of my friends are in similar situations. College educated, from solidly middle class backgrounds, but after the crash there were no jobs in our fields. So we worked two-three jobs and have roommates if not living with a S.O, have all been laid off at least once, and now companies constantly

Strip clubs and karaoke are the preferred birthday celebration spots for my group of friends. Nothing to see here folks.

Emma Stone or Jessica Chastain or something? Or some other palatable red head?

Also, cell phones have only been part of society since the mid-late 90's. I was born in 1982 and managed to get through elementary, middle, high school, and most of college with a very robust social life without needing to be constantly glued to a miniature phone. Like, how did humanity survive and progress through

Didn’t mean to generalize all of Jersey, maybe I’m just thinking of certain pricey suburban areas. I work in Manhattan at a luxury cosmetics store and the mother/daughter shoppers who come in after brunch on weekend excursions from Jersey tend to have this look. My boyfriend also lives in a very pretty Jersey town

I love those “Kids React to” videos on YouTube. I was born in ‘82 and I’ve always felt lucky to be an ‘80s child and 90's teen/young adult. Both special decades. Watching  kids in those videos try to figure out a Walkman or Gameboy makes me feel a strange combination of adulthood and pride.

It’s New Jersey housewife who was prom queen and maintains her signature blonde shade and length from her glory days hair. They won’t take a break between bleachings or get a regular deep condition treatment so the hair thins and breaks. Then they won’t cut layers in or shorten it to create volume because they’re

Exactly. Men are probably picturing who they want to have sex with outside the relationship, but the reality is not the same. Probably most women open to outside sex are not expecting movie star looks, and are also open/interested in sex with women. It’s more of an exploratory growth thing, not a banging hot people

Yeah I’m from Michigan and we all had backyards surrounded by hedges or fences and gardens. Not seeing the hoopla here.

My mom was college educated and waited until she was 31 and then 34 to have my sister and me. My dad was a recovered alcoholic firefighter who also happened to be from a very regressive, misogynistic southern family and he relapsed and bounced after my sister was born. Refused to help raise us. Dodged child support.
