This doesn’t seem to be a “360" video. But you can view those 360 youtube videos in a google cardboard viewer and it works.

Probably... I fear they’re following the path of their more recent Battleship brethren. Big expensive targets that despite their power projection, are increasingly vulnerable to evolving weapons...
No need to edit - just run with it and DEFEND YOUR COLON!!!
I was in the market for a new TV this past Xmas and asked the same thing. After a lot of research I concluded that no, 4k wasn’t worth the extra cost, slower refresh rate, and increased energy usage. There’s not a lot of 4k content, most of the time I didn’t want to pay for it, and you really have to sit close to see…

“Armored colons”? Is that for real spicy food?
“Just the good ole boys, never meanin no harm”....
Besides kayaking around there, I used to work at Swan Island. It’s pretty cool to know these experimental craft are being tested where WW2 Liberty ships were once built.
Yes, but isn’t that just a normal marine nav radar(s)? Would that be appropriate for tracking enemy aircraft at long distances?
I’m familiar with the idea of non totally vertical surfaces to not deflect radar waves right back at the horizon as in the zumwald - sp. From the picture it just looks like straight surfaces on this drone.
Not being manned, I guess they don’t care about it’s radar signature so it has normal vertical hull surfaces. I wonder if they can add radar to it’s sensors or will that be too power intensive? Depending on it’s electronics “package” I wonder if they’ll have a self-destruct sys, since it’s probably easy to capture…

I was in the portland ikea parking lot a few months back and watched a pair of F-15s doing touch and gos at PDX. I didn’t realize they were based there.
I bet I saw the very Eagles that are going to Finland. They were doing touch and go’s at the PDX airport and screaming over the nearby IKEA.
I had “Stompers” as a kid, even the amphibious one with the huge floating wheels.

Unless you on TNG starships, where red became “command”
Agreed - if flying fpv without much maneuvering, but line of sight or with a spotter, you’ll have more situation awareness than the eagle. What I’m saying is that a bird big enough to safely take down a “racing quad” generally won’t have the tight maneuverability or acceleration that these machines now have. They can…
True, raptors are quite intelligent, but realistically it’s very hard to grab a flying drone while avoiding the props. You’ll notice they intentionally cut the throttle right after he grabs it.
That’s what they say, but I literally have that drone he’s catching, as well as far more dangerous ones. There’s a huge difference in their injury potential.
Using a highly evolved bird of prey to take down a clumsy quadcopter “drone” makes sense, but those spinning blades can cause serious injury to the bird - and a well piloted 250mm racing drone is easily just as fast and maneuverable as an eagle. For the record, the Syma X8 drone in that video is a weak and cheap toy…
