I'm still daily driving my 97 SH and yeah, it runs rich and burns oil with lots of soot on the backside. Other than that and being a rattle trap, it's still a hoot to drive and has been ridiculously reliable for an almost 20 yo car with all original parts.

Relax, it will probably sink itself soon enough...

When KAL-007 was shot down by the Soviets, America provided some evidence that knowingly compromised some of their surveillance techniques (which the Soviets promptly counteracted). In this case, the US has less of dog in the fight, so who knows...
