Best has so many different possibilities. I'd have to say the best car I ever owned i the 04 Impreza TS I currently own. Reliable, fun, and practical. A close second, as a teenager I had a 77 Caprice (2 door) that gave me many opportunities I would not have had without it. It was the perfect car for the time.

I thought yesterdays BMW was horrendous. This car is a reason there should be euthanasia. It should have been put out of it's misery long ago. Any more suffering is just cruel and unusual.

The 77 Caprice I had 15 years ago was excellent. Full bench front seat, with fabric seat belt positioners so you never got an errant seatbelt up your ass.

@cressidaftw: I hadn't thought of the F40's. But does that leave me enough for a mechanic as well?
