Milk and sugar are avoided by coffee snobs because good coffee doesn’t need them. If you must have them added into your drink, maybe you just don’t like coffee?

The drip coffee I made this morning would have been far too strong for any of the “Greatest Generation” you mentioned. And yes, it tasted better than many of the coffees I’ve had at fancy coffee joints. You’re just letting your coffee snobbery get in the way of learning how to use a coffee maker properly.

I used to work at a store that was right across the street from our airport (Richardson Int’l in Winnipeg) and I don’t recall ever hearing noise from a commercial jet (unless they were testing something, and the back end was pointed at us). Sounds like you need a different job. I love what I do for work, and enjoy telling people about it. Not everyone needs the dream job, but everyone deserves to find something they enjoy.

I had a ‘Tsudo muffler on my ‘97 Cavalier Z24, just like in this image. Big, fat tip, and it sounded decent. Loud, but deep. Not a weed wacker impersonation. Eventually I got rid of it because I stopped caring about fat tips, and got tired of the noise.

I always thought it was strange that they decided to make the Patriot look more like a Cherokee than the actual Cherokee.

Labbat Blue is truly horrible. Even as a Winnipeger, whose hometown CFL team was the inspiration behind the beers name, I do not like it. If you’re getting a Labbat beer, get Labbat 50. Far better. It tastes like a beer that old bartenders give old guys when they order with “I’ll have a beer”.
